Job Details:

Job Summary:

The incumbent will be responsible for conducting thorough physical and visual inspections of products and plant systems. This includes accurately documenting and calculating results, taking corrective actions when necessary, alerting appropriate personnel to adjust processes, identifying, segregating, and isolating non-conforming products, and reporting findings to management. Additional assignments may be requested as needed. All team members are accountable for ensuring safety, encompassing both personal and food safety.

Requirements:

Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in the Fresh Meats industry or other QA-related experience is required.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Special Skills:

  • Proficiency in completing Tyson paperwork.
  • Ability to lead by example and motivate the hourly workforce.
  • Strong problem identification and problem-solving skills.
  • Competency in math and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret product specifications.
  • Capability to function well under stress.
  • Flexibility to work in various locations and schedules as needed.

Physical Requirements: The position requires heavy lifting (70 lbs. or more).

Supervisory Responsibilities: None.

Travel Requirements: None.
