  • Partner with our Finance and HR teams on reconciliations, reporting, and systems.
  • Assist with payroll system updates, implementations, and improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and Canadian payroll regulations, including statutory filings and year-end processes (e.g., W-2, T4).
  • Maintain and audit employee data up to date in our HRIS, supporting changes in compensation, benefits, and tax status.
  • Create reports and summaries for leadership and external auditors when needed.
  • Be the go-to person for pay- and time-related questions from employees.
  • Track and report paid time off, leave of absence, and other pay-impacting activity.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support multi-entry or global payroll needs.
  • Support the new hire onboarding process by entering payroll and tax information, ensuring timely set up of direct deposit and tax withholdings, and verifying eligibility for benefits-related deductions.

  • Solid understanding of payroll laws and tax requirements in both the U.S. and Canada.
  • Bonus if you’ve helped implement or migrated payroll system.
  • A sharp eye for detail and commitment to handling sensitive information with care.
  • Proficient in Excel and payroll reporting tools.
  • CPP certification is great—but not a deal-breaker if you’ve got experience.
