We are excited to announce an opening for a Foster Care Supervisor.
The Foster Care Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the Foster Care Specialists and Support Workers. This position includes quality control of services, staff hiring and onboarding, training, performance evaluations, corrective and disciplinary actions, and incident documentation in collaboration with the Human Resources Director.
The Supervisor will also support Foster Care case management activities including tracking referrals and discharges, managing caseloads, monitoring mileage and overtime approvals, and ensuring compliance with program standards. Additional responsibilities include team growth through securing new DHHS referrals, assisting in the marketing of the Foster Care Program, supporting employee retention and development, and performing other duties as assigned.

- Grow the Foster Care team through effective recruitment and community engagement
- Motivate and support staff in achieving program goals
- Collaborate with GLFS Leadership to provide coaching, support, and disciplinary action when needed

- Proven ability to supervise, coach, and hold staff accountable to performance expectations
- Strong networking skills to build professional relationships with community partners and referral sources
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities (calls, texts, emails, and documentation)

Requirements
- Supervisory experience required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field required
- Experience in child welfare programming is highly preferred
- Must have the ability to travel as needed
- Most work is completed remotely from a home office; reliable internet and workspace are required
