SALARY: $142,272 - $152,000, bonus and long-term incentive eligible

ROLE SUMMARY:
Anheuser-Busch, LLC seeks a full-time Commercial Manager. Responsible for directing the company's sales and service efforts building strong business relationships with key wholesalers and internal partners and ensuring alignment between company and customer (wholesaler) objectives in the Central Texas region. Build strategies to drive Anheuser Busch's commercial priorities to deliver results. Partner with Commercial Director, Trade Marketing Manager, and other internal teams, along with wholesaler teams on all issues and sales opportunities; including: merchandising, marketing, sales, ride withs and any other relevant plans/actions in the market.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for sales, marketing, and promotions in highly populated majority Hispanic markets.
Communicate results, blueprint priorities, and programs weekly/monthly with Wholesaler and Commercial Director. Manage Point of Connection Materials (POCM) including assisting in allocating POCM to branch satellites, communicate to sales team when new POCM is available, and lead storage and inventory of POCM.
Manage commercial plan development, Wholesaler Joint Business Plans (WJBP), and critical Commercial processes, including but not limited to pricing strategy development & price increase sell-in, cents per case audits, and forecasting reviews.
Manage end-to-end Wholesaler Management and relationships, including Wholesaler planning and performance routine/meetings (innovation, channel, and non-alc), Trimester planning and strategy implementation, and Ambassador of Excellence and Wholesaler Equity Agreement assessments.
Oversee and own the Sales, Share and Financial performance of dedicated main house wholesaler. Provide routine report-outs through the Sales Performance Reviews with senior management.
Understand the market dynamics and industry-specific trends and landscapes to bring new insights and solutions to drive results and lead future growth.
Use full understanding and ability to leverage tools at your disposal to provide strategic oversight of the business: Information Resources Incorporated (IRI), CSR, Business Objects, Value in Pricing Reporting (VIPR), Revenue Management Inquiry System (RMIS), etc.
Support and manage pilot projects on an ad-hoc basis.
Lead, motivate, and influence sales teams of 100+ people from top to bottom levels of seniority in a majority Hispanic workforce.
Establish relationships with key beer buyers, store directors or location managers in Central Texas, including on and off premise (On premise scales across restaurant, bar, and night club ownership groups; Off premise scales national and regional chain accounts in Central Texas including HEB, Walmart, Circle K and 7-Eleven).
Own a multi-million dollar marketing investment budget while navigating Texas beer, wine & liquor, and non-alcohol laws for marketing, advertising, and promotions across the 3-tier system (supplier, distributor, retailer).
Leading and influencing a 9-figure privately-owned distributor business partner who understands the local social, socioeconomic and demographic intricacies of the Central Texas beer marketplace.
Develop beer wholesaler annual business plans leveraging multiple resources including, volume, sales, distribution, media, sponsorships, local marketing flex, activation & sampling teams, custom bilingual (English and Spanish) Point of Connection Materials (POCM) materials and custom local programs to maximize business partner buy-in and engagement.
Position supervises one Business Development Representative.
Telecommute opportunity in the San Antonio, TX metro area. Travel required 100% of the time across the San Antonio, TX metro area to perform duties, including meeting with and managing wholesaler partnerships.
Reports to A-BL HQ in St. Louis, MO. Spanish fluency (reading and writing) required to communicate with wholesaler partners in majority Hispanic markets.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Requirements:
This position requires Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Management or Marketing and one (1) year of Sales and/or Marketing related experience.
Must also have 12 months of experience with each of the following (which may have been gained concurrently):
Influencing sales teams of 100+ people from top to bottom levels of seniority in a majority Hispanic workforce; Establishing relationships with key beer buyers, store directors or location managers in Central Texas, including on premise (restaurant, bar, and night club ownership groups) and off premise (national and regional chain accounts in Central Texas including HEB, Walmart, Circle K and 7-Eleven); Owning a multi-million dollar marketing investment budget while navigating Texas beer, wine & liquor, and non-alcohol laws for marketing, advertising, and promotions across the 3-tier system (supplier, distributor, retailer); Influencing a 9-figure privately-owned distributor business partner who understands the local social, socioeconomic and demographic intricacies of the Central Texas beer marketplace; Sales, marketing, and promotions experience in highly populated majority Hispanic markets; and Developing a beer wholesaler annual business plan leveraging multiple resources including, volume, sales, distribution, media, sponsorships, local marketing flex, activation & sampling teams, custom bi-lingual (English and Spanish) Point of Connection Materials (POCM) materials and custom local programs to maximize business partner buy-in and engagement.
