The Opportunity
Reporting to the HSN2 Senior Manager , the Content Replay Planner is responsible for maximizing sales and productivity by leveraging taped content across multiple platforms. Core accountabilities include planning of shows to achieves sales goals Including pricing accuracy and assessing on-air stock on-hand, working cross-divisionally to achieve company goals, and maximize sales opportunities. You will also identify and communicate opportunities and risks through the analysis of sales.
Your Impact
Show Planning:
- Scripting of HSN2 shows and other taped programming as needed according to network appropriate standards/guidelines to make or exceed show goals. Leverage existing content to maximize trends, promotional pricing, and meet company objectives.
- Able to creatively write cross-divisional, mixed shows; item sequencing to maximize customer experience and viewership.
- Analyze show/item performance and recommend/initiate next actions.
- Review and react to daily sales trends.
- Partner with the Planning team to maximize opportunities and special recordings.
- Ability to prepare ad-hoc reporting to provide current business trends and insights.
- Assist in providing/ensuring up-to-date disaster recovery content throughout the year.
- Assist in finding special item opportunities using existing clips or live recordings.
- Lead the HSN2 show curation.
- Work with HSN planners to review inventory and pricing opportunities for HSN2 exclusive pricing or item launch opportunities.
- Pioneer the ongoing evolution of the role by identifying opportunities for efficiencies and improvements.
- Maintain high levels of connectivity across HSN & HSN2.
What You Bring
You have a bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent business experience, in a corporate retail environment.
You have 5 years of merchandise planning, allocation, sales forecasting experience in corporate retail.
- You think strategically and tactically in the management of the business, formulates a point of view to summarize opportunities and strategies.
