We are seeking a results-driven Operational Risk Management leader responsible for architecting and advancing the organization’s Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) strategy and system. This role plays a pivotal part in embedding risk management into business operations, ensuring resilience, regulatory compliance, and strategic alignment across the enterprise. The GRC Lead will be responsible for administering the company’s GRC technology, driving integration and maturity of risk management processes. By collaborating cross-functionality and leveraging the firm’s GRC tool, this role enhances operational transparency, promotes a strong risk culture, and delivers actionable insights that shape the business strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of a practical Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) framework aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements
- Increase organizational awareness of GRC principles supporting the risk lifecycle, and lead training programs designed to embed a risk and control mindset throughout the organization
- Administer the organization’s GRC platform, collaborating cross-functionally with key stakeholders to provide strategic support and drive continuous enhancements aligned with business needs
- Support senior and executive management risk reporting
- Promote and build a strong risk culture across business and functional groups through ongoing engagement, training and relationship building
- Coordinate with other assurance functions including Compliance and Internal Audit to ensure an integrated approach
- Provide risk oversight and advice on key risk areas such as Operational Resilience, Information Security, and Third Party Risk Management
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or other related fields. Advanced degree or certifications a plus
- 10 + years of related work experience in risk management within the financial services industry (insurance experience a plus)
- Specialist knowledge in governance, risk management and control frameworks
- Strong understanding of risk management GRC tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven strategic thinking and creative problem solver with the ability to analyze and synthesize complex issues
- Ability to influence and negotiate with varied stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively
Location: West Chester, PA; New York, NY
(Hybrid - 2-3 days per week in the office)

In addition to salary, Resolution Life US offers a comprehensive benefits package, including our health & wellness program, incentive and recognition programs, and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The range for the role may differ based on the location.
