Job Summary

    The Implementation Director provides implementation management, direction, and support, and assists in the coordination activities for AMN Healthcare Clients during the implementations of AMN Healthcare Business Solutions  -  Vendor Neutral Managed Services Program (VN MSP), Managed Services Program (MSP), or Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO), Direct, and Optimizations – for our customers.

    • Ability to think strategically, understanding and analyzing the complexities, concepts, and context of customer needs. The Implementation Director is a learner who provides input and ideas to resolve problems and create opportunities.
    • Ability to work independently and make decisions with little supervision to bring the client and internal partners the desired results.

    Job Tasks

    • Provides management and direction of implementations and utilizes implementation tools to assure a successful implementation; works closely with Operations, Field VPs and local branch operations management (if applicable) as necessary to provide support during the implementation process for all Client projects assigned.
    • Creates project charter, conducts solution design calls, and develops plan specific to Client specifications and contract terms. Leads the communication and change management initiative for every project.
    • Develop and maintain client relationships throughout the project.
    • Lead the client to best practices with consultative methods based on internal stakeholders' input.
    • Assign task to support team members to ensure the project is kept on track based on the agreed upon timeline set with the client and internal stakeholders.
    • Conducts Internal and Client status meetings and orchestrates Workgroups.
    • Manages and implements project to program deliverables from the corporate support role.
    • Assists in the process of transferring knowledge of contract requirements and service delivery components to promote a smooth transition from existing staffing models to future state.
    • Monitors and reviews project activity to ensure that personnel are reviewing and following up on issues raised by the Client in a timely manner. Reviews problems with Leadership for possible options and works with the local management team to resolve problems quickly.
    • Acts as the escalation point for all unresolved matters and issues that may occur during the implementation.
    • Audits program activity to ensure account set up, billing, and service levels (and if applicable, subcontractor invoices and billing) are in compliance with AMN Company policies and the contract with the Client.
    • Performs the transition from implementation to operations following the successful completion of the project. Includes completion of project documentation and end of project survey.
    • Confers with Leadership to plan and develop methods and procedures to increase sales, lower costs, and obtain greater efficiencies.
    • Provides, implements, and enforces company policies and procedures as directed by executive management.
    • Performs additional duties/responsibilities that might be directed by Leadership that are not specified in the job description, but are crucial to the success of the role/organization.

    • Skilled in preparing reports for upper management regarding status

    Qualifications

      Education & Years of Experience

      • Associate's Degree plus 5-7 years of work experience OR High School Diploma/GED plus 7-9 years of work experience

      Certifications

      • Project Management Professional (PMP) (Preferred)
      • Certified ScrumMaster (Preferred)

      Additional Experience

      • Experience leading one or more complex IT projects
      • Experience with enterprise-level programs or projects (i.e. Enterprise Resource Planning, Electronic Health Records, cross-functional implementations)
      • PeopleSoft, Salesforce, or similar enterprise systems experience
      • Planview Project Portfolio Management Pro and Microsoft Project experience
      • Experience working in a Project Management Office (PMO) environment

      Work Environment / Physical Requirements

      • Work is performed in an office/home office environment.
      • Team Members must have the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.

        Pay Rate

        $98,000 - $122,500 Salary

        Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
