Position Summary
PRN position provides basic blood drawing procedures or experienced skill in capillary and venipuncture blood collection on patients at outreach events on our community van under direct or moderate supervision.Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Draws blood on patients within Children’s and Barnes Hospitals by venipuncture or capillary sticks.
Applies sweat tests at supervisor’s discretion.
Transport specimens.
Performs other duties assigned by supervisor or Phlebotomy coordinator.

Required Qualifications:
- Basic Life Support certification must be obtained within one month of hire date.
- Online BLS certifications, those without a skills assessment component, are not sufficient to meet the BLS requirements.
