Salary Range: $83277 - $108264 Per Year

Job Summary: This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Major Duties:

  • You will be resolving end user requirements associated with voice, data, video, network services, and telecommunications media associated with current and emerging technologies.
  • You will perform duties associated with the ordering, tracking and disposal of contractor services, hardware and software while leveraging life cycle management best practices.
  • You will provide technical assistance, guidance and solutions for development, installation, usage and sustainment of all current and emerging technologies/telecommunication products and services.
  • You will manage accounts, network rights, and access to systems and equipment.
  • You will identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities and risks while maintaining hardware, software and network integrity and availability.

Qualifications: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Attention to Detail -Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Identifying and defining business or technical requirements applied to the design, development, implementation, management, and support of systems and networks. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. Problem Solving -Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. AND One year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector 1) Applying methods and practices for troubleshooting, recovering, adjusting, modifying, and improving, IT systems sufficient to provide advice and assistance to customers. 2) Identifying and define business or technical requirements applied to the design, development, implementation, management, and support of systems and networks. 3)Evaluate and recommend adoption of new and enhanced approaches to delivering IT services.
