About the Department
Job Summary
Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate all aspects of clinical, epidemiological and environmental health research projects implemented locally and in Bangladesh by Institute for Population and Precision Health.
Design studies, collect and manage data, conduct quality control and statistical analyses of diverse data, and manuscript/report writing.
Manage IRBs, coordinating with different stakeholders involved in projects including research staff, investigators, administrative, grant management and funding agency personnel.
Assist with preparation of grant proposals, progress reports, presentations and communication materials.
Serves as a resource for collecting data and performing analysis. Contributes to facilitating and promoting a research project by providing scientific or intellectual information.
Reviews laboratory protocols and training on new techniques. Manage complex data sets for research.
Leads the contributions to scientific writing and publications, including protocols and grants.
Trains new laboratory personnel.
Guides data collection, evaluation and analysis. Designs and manages databases. Writes reports, articles and manuscripts.
Presents research findings at meetings and conferences, as well as to funding agencies. Conducts literature reviews. Develop and maintain liaisons and effective working relations with groups and individuals, agencies, and the public to encourage cooperative management strategies or to develop information and interpret findings.
Performs other related work as needed.
