Job Title: Full-Stack Developer for Sports Game Web/App Development Salary: 2000 - 2500 USD Schedule: 9-5PM EST Type of contract: Independent contractor Key Responsibilities: - Develop both web and mobile app versions of the sports game, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience. - Work closely with the team to bring the product to life based on a detailed 90-page technical specification document. - Collaborate with project leads to ensure the product is completed by early 2025, leaving a 2-3 month buffer for potential refinements before the MLB season. - Build, test, and deploy the application, ensuring it meets performance, security, and usability standards. - Participate in demo presentations to potential partners (MLB, gaming companies, lotteries). - Provide feedback and recommendations on the frontend/backend technical balance as needed. Requirements: - 5+ years of full-stack development experience, preferably with a strong background in sports-related projects or a keen interest in sports. - Experience with both frontend (UI/UX design) and backend development. - Proven experience developing web and mobile applications (Work samples, GitHub, or portfolio link required). - Strong knowledge of modern web technologies (JavaScript, React, Node.js, etc.) and backend frameworks. - Familiarity with integration processes for sports data APIs or related services. - Strong English communication skills (verbal and written), with a light accent preferred for ease of collaboration. - Flexible work hours, with availability to overlap with 9-5 PM EST as needed. - Ability to self-manage and meet deadlines with minimal supervision. Preferred Experience (Nice to Have): - Experience with gaming or fantasy sports platforms. - Prior work with B2B-focused projects and experience demoing products to major clients. - Knowledge of or interest in MLB or other major sports leagues.
