The Healthcare Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to drive strategic decision-making. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams, utilize advanced analytical tools, and communicate insights through visualizations and accurate interpretations. Ensuring data accuracy and relevance, the Data Analyst will empower organizations to make informed decisions and achieve their objectives in a dynamic business environment.Job Summary Details

  • Conduct in-depth business analysis to support business decision making.
  • Develop and maintain automated data processes and reporting systems.
  • Present findings and insights through clear and compelling communication and visualizations.
  • Collect, clean, and analyze healthcare data from internal and external sources, including claims data, enrollment data, and clinical data.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in the data to uncover insights that inform business strategies and initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate key performance indicators and metrics to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and requirements and translate them into actionable analytics solutions.
  • Conduct in-depth business analysis to support business decision making.
  • Develop and maintain automated data processes and reporting systems.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis and support special projects as needed, providing timely and accurate data-driven recommendations.
  • Monitor data quality and integrity, identifying and addressing data discrepancies or inconsistencies.
  • Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in healthcare analytics and data management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and deemed appropriate by leadership.
QualificationsEducation/Experience
  • 4 Year / Bachelors Degree-in Statistics, Mathematics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in data analytics, preferably in the dental, healthcare, or a related industry.
Specific Skills/Knowledge
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other programming languages used for data analysis and manipulation.
  • Experience working with healthcare data sets, including claims, enrollment, and clinical data.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work on multiple, concurrent tasks.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements, such as HIPAA, preferred.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is preferred.

CompensationIn the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary for this position is $65,000- $90,000, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. If you are hired at Liberty, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any, final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role.
