#About the Role

An exciting opportunity is available for a dynamic and customer-focused Account Manager to join a growing team! As an early hire in this role, you will play a critical part in nurturing relationships with existing clients while navigating the evolving nature of the team.


Responsibilities will include driving renewals, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and ensuring clients maximize their value from the platform. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences while achieving revenue growth targets and contributing to the development of the account management function.


You Will

- Own and manage the post-sales relationship in partnership with customer success for a portfolio of clients, driving renewals, upsells, and overall account growth.


- Develop strategic account plans focused on long-term growth, including ways to enhance customer satisfaction, product adoption, and value realization.


- Cultivate and maintain a deep understanding of the company’s offerings to guide clients in achieving their benefits goals.


- Conduct regular business reviews with key stakeholders to communicate product value, assess account health, and identify expansion opportunities.


- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including customer success, sales, support, and product, to ensure a seamless customer experience.


- Contribute to shaping best practices, processes, and tools for the account management team as it builds and scales.


Preferred Skills & Experience

- 5+ years in a sales-related role, including at least 2 years in post-sales account management, renewals, and upsell opportunities.


- Proven ability to meet or exceed revenue and retention targets, driving significant account growth and supporting company-wide sales objectives.


- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, capable of building trust and managing multiple accounts effectively.


- Strategic problem-solver with the capability to identify client needs, deliver tailored solutions, and advocate for clients internally.


- Ability to build trusted advisor relationships and navigate complex commercial discussions, aligning client needs with company objectives.


- Familiarity with benefits software or similar platforms is a plus, but not required; a willingness to learn and adapt quickly is highly valued.


- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity and a willingness to help shape the account management function.
