The organization is seeking a visionary Head of Product-Led Growth to spearhead initiatives focused on growth, customer acquisition, and lifecycle management. In this key role, the individual will develop and implement a strategy that enhances the overall experience for SMB and mid-market customers across various industries. The position entails refining each stage of the customer journey—from interest and acquisition through onboarding, subscription phases, and beyond. As a leader among leaders, the role involves redefining the initial interactions, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience that highlights increasing value throughout the journey.


Responsibilities

- Collaborate with various teams across technology, marketing, sales, and analytics to establish a vision and operational practices for a world-class growth team.


- Identify and articulate significant product opportunities centered on customer needs, delivering transformative value that directly contributes to business growth.


- Align C-suite executives, senior leaders, and product heads around a cohesive, ambitious growth strategy while managing and negotiating diverse objectives.


- Encourage a culture of experimentation by implementing a hypothesis-driven design approach, facilitating rapid data collection, experimentation, and the development of frameworks for ongoing growth.


- Lead the global product-led growth (PLG) strategy, driving user engagement, retention, activation, and revenue expansion across the product suite.


- Craft an intuitive and engaging first-time user experience that effectively communicates the value proposition to new users.


- Investigate and implement enhancements throughout the customer lifecycle, emphasizing activation, onboarding, and cross-selling opportunities.


- Partner closely with the analytics team to devise a strategy for experimentation and measurement that ensures long-term success and accurate forecasting of impactful experiments.


- Prioritize initiatives and make key investment decisions that align with the team's vision and product roadmaps.


- Build and mentor a high-performing team of Product Managers and Growth Engineers, fostering a data-driven, customer-centric mentality.


- Champion product excellence, leading in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment while upholding high standards, accountability, and diversity of thought.


- Promote a supportive and inclusive culture that brings together talented individuals from various backgrounds, utilizing effective communication and customer focus to develop industry-leading products.


- Support the broader product organization through mentorship, active involvement in recruitment, and contribution to product initiatives.


- Continuously seek improvements to the customer journey, targeting lifecycle stages such as activation, onboarding, and expansion.


Requirements

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a robust analytical mindset, exceptional problem-solving capabilities, and strategic thinking to drive product initiatives that align with business objectives and resonate with customers.


What You Need to Succeed

- 10+ years of experience in B2C and B2B product-led growth, including growth hacking and product leadership roles.


- Expertise in PLG to achieve substantial product and business outcomes, with experience managing larger scale and team development.


- Proven track record of delivering results and scaling products to millions of users.


- In-depth understanding of sophisticated growth strategies and implementation focused on product adoption.


- Experience navigating within a highly matrixed organization, collaborating through various teams, functions, and structures.


- Exceptional executive presence to influence at all levels, from C-suite executives to individual growth practitioners.


- Analytical, data-driven thinker who balances data and intuition in making product decisions.


- Customer-obsessed mindset, consistently advocating for the customer and prioritizing their needs.


- Experience in identifying significant opportunities and driving product vision, strategies, and roadmaps aligned with broader organizational goals.


- Proven leadership experience in guiding teams of leaders and fostering thought leadership within the organization.


- Ability to lead through change and ambiguity, maintaining team motivation during challenges.


What to Expect


30 Days

- Onboard with the organization, meet crucial team members, and immerse in the company culture.


- Acquire a comprehensive understanding of existing growth strategies and the status of PLG across different product portfolios.


- Begin establishing relationships with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders.


- Participate actively in growth group discussions.


90 Days

- Review growth performance, analyzing data to uncover opportunities for enhancement.


- Initiate PLG efforts on select projects in conjunction with the Growth Engineering and Growth Marketing teams.


- Present initial growth strategies for feedback and review.


- Set up regular reporting and communication channels with stakeholders.


1 Year

- Implement an ambitious product growth strategy, resulting in notable improvements in user engagement, retention, and revenue growth.


- Define and execute strategic growth initiatives that yield measurable business growth and enhanced customer value.


- Establish a culture of experimentation, incorporating a hypothesis-driven approach into daily operations.


- Develop efficient processes for rapid experimentation and data aggregation, fostering continuous learning and iteration.


- Design and implement a new, intuitive, engaging first-time user experience that drives higher conversion rates from sign-up to activation.


- Ensure a seamless user onboarding process that enables customers to realize the product’s value quickly, enhancing satisfaction and reducing churn.


- Achieve measurable improvements across the customer lifecycle, resulting in heightened retention rates and increased customer usage.


- Generate significant additional revenue from cross-selling and upselling initiatives.


- Continuously enhance all stages of the customer journey, demonstrating meaningful improvements in activation, onboarding, and engagement metrics.

$224K – $280K • Offers Equity
