Job Description
- Develop and implement strategic business plans to expand the company's customer base in the port machinery sector.
- Collaborate with internal teams to meet customer needs and drive growth.
- Establish and maintain positive business relationships with clients.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
- Organise and participate in industry-specific events and conferences.
- Produce accurate sales reports and forecasts.
- Ensure achievement of sales targets in the port machinery department.
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
A Successful Business Development Manager Should Have
- Relevant educational qualifications in business, sales, or a related field.
- Proven experience in selling telehandlers or material handlers
- Strong knowledge of port machinery and related products.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- A drive for meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- An attractive salary package ranging up to AUD 130,000 per year, inclusive of car, bonus (4 months potential), and super.
