Business Analyst (Remote)

We’re looking for a Business Analyst to join our team in Bangalore, India. You will work directly with our client to tell a compelling story out of complicated data through data analytics and visualizations. Our business intelligence-focused projects will challenge your analysis skills, strategic and tactical decision-making ability, storytelling, and creativity.

Business Analyst (Remote)

We’re looking for a Business Analyst to join our team in Bangalore, India. You will work directly with our client to tell a compelling story out of complicated data through data analytics and visualizations. Our business intelligence-focused projects will challenge your analysis skills, strategic and tactical decision-making ability, storytelling, and creativity.
As a Business Analyst, you will
- Analyze, interpret, and tell a story from client financial, operational, and performance data to provide fact-based recommendations to drive SMM program enhancements, reduce costs, streamline processes, and increase savings
- Test the systems of record for consistency and escalate issues for a quick resolution; ensure that all proper parties are informed of issues; Report on inconsistencies
- Ensure accurate and appropriate reporting is implemented to support SLA (Service Level Agreement) and KPI (Key Performance Indicators) reporting
- Benchmark data against industry, regional, and global standards to assist in developing internal and account roadmaps
- Be responsible for quality control of meeting data and data integrity
- Work as part of a global team with data analysts, developers, account managers, and internal stakeholders on a variety of data, analytic, and visualization projects
- Liaise and interact with the client directly; Compile and contribute to quarterly data for quarterly reviews, transform reporting as client needs change, and use reports to assist client procurement department in annual negotiations
- Extensive experience in analytics
- Prior meeting planning/purchasing experience
- Knowledge of the meetings industry
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel and Pivot Tables
- Experience in writing SQL queries
- Ability to learn and operate in other multi-software applications
