Role

An Operation Intern will be assisting with operational-related needs for all the team members.

This means that your duties will involve helping manage activities such as IT Asset Management, IT

Support, Logistics, Procurement and Team Member Engagement.


The job of an Operations Intern is important to the Operation’s Team success. Contributing to

having a productive workplace where everyone works to realize our established mission and

objectives. Contributing a seamless hybrid work experience for all the team members is a vital

aspect of an Operations Intern job description and specification.


Responsibilities


Operational tasks

  • Contribute to the day-to-day functioning of team members operating hybrid is seamless.
  • Assist In providing all the necessary software, applications, assets, etc. to the Team members.
  • Assist in arranging co-working spaces when the need arises
  • Assist in finding the best options in procuring assets, tools, software, and services regarding quality and cost


IT Asset management

  • Assist in procurement, maintenance, distribution and recovery of assets.
  • Assist in IT assets inventory management - Record and Update inventory on the HRMS system.
  • Assist in Coordinating maintenance and repair of assets.
  • Assist the accounting department in getting the invoices for assets procured.


IT Support

  • Assist in maintaining IT software, tools and applications repository.
  • Assist in user management with regard to all the required software, tools, and applications generic and project-specific.
  • Assist in the purchase, renewal and cancellation of the software, tools and
  • applications.


Team Member Engagement

  • Assist in initiating, supporting or coordinating events that participate in team member engagement.
  • Assist in Collaborating with other support teams, technology teams and other stakeholders in their initiatives.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or related field MBA-IT Systems/Operations, BCA with MBA.
  • People-oriented and results-driven
  • Working knowledge of Google Workspace, Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides and Drive will be a plus.
  • Should be a tech savvy individual with an ability to learn new tools, software, and applications. Their uses, management and basic troubleshooting.
  • The ability to work as part of a team.
  • Resourceful, self motivated and proactive.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication skills
