Responsibilities

• Prepare Accurate Takeoffs: Create detailed takeoffs for construction projects, accurately measuring quantities of materials, labor, and equipment required to complete the project.
• Develop Competitive Quotes: Prepare comprehensive and competitive quotes based on takeoffs, pricing information, and project specifications to ensure profitability and client satisfaction.
• Manage Quote Process: Coordinate the entire quote process from start to finish, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of quotes to clients.
• Analyze Project Data: Review and analyze project data to identify potential cost savings, inefficiencies, or areas for improvement in the quoting process.
• Maintain Quote Database: Organize and maintain a database of quotes and related project information for future reference and tracking.
• Collaborate with Team: Work closely with project managers, estimators, and other team members to ensure accurate and timely execution of projects based on the prepared quotes.
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience in preparing takeoffs and quotes for construction companies or subcontractors.
• Proficiency in takeoff and estimating software (e.g., Procore, Sign Agent, etc.) and financial software like QuickBooks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey information to clients and team members.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the construction industry, particularly in estimating and quoting.
• Knowledge of construction estimating standards and practices.
• Experience with construction contract management and understanding of construction workflows.
