We are seeking a dedicated individual to take on the role of Merchant Forum and Engagement Lead. In this position, you will be the primary person responsible for overseeing and managing all activities related to the Merchant Forum and its Advisory Group. Your leadership will be crucial in driving discussions, fostering collaboration, and ensuring the success of these initiatives.

?? Your impact

  • Being the main responsible person for the Merchant Forum and the Merchant Forum Advisory Group
  • Coordinating and planning all activities and topics of the Local Merchant Community Meetings and Expert Groups towards the Merchant Forum and vice versa.
  • Collaborating closely with the Field Marketing and B2B Marketing Managers
  • Challenging the content and ensuring consistency with our Chief Officers, CEO, and member committees to address the correct needs of various merchants, associations, and communities
  • Acting as a point of contact and building relationships with the merchants’ association to understand their major needs
  • Handling cross-functional tasks as needed, providing support for complex project management
  • Reviewing and tracking the progress of contributions made by internal departments

? If you had joined us last month, here’s what you could have done

  • You would have joined a meeting with Top30 merchants
  • You would have been part of the Merchant Forum Advisory Group meeting with European and local Associations
  • You would have started planning the next Merchant Forum

??????? To succeed, you should meet at least 70% of these requirements

  • +8 years of experience in the payment industry (acceptance market is a major plus)
  • Good relationship skills, at ease with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong ability to communicate clearly in writing, verbally, and through presentations
  • Proven experience in marketing and/or communication and project management
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (any other languages of our core markets (Germany/France/Belgium is a plus)

You’ll join a team of three talented Business Acceptance leader based in Germany, France and Belgium, reporting to Fabian Mansfeld our Chief of acceptance market, who has a great track record in generating leads and quickly building highly skilled and happy teams.
