World Wide Technology EMEA. has an opportunity available for an Platform Automation Engineer to support our client, a leading Global Financial Services provider with an infrastructure modernisation and automation program. Please see further details below: Scope: Contribute to the architectural definition of automation frameworks and workflows for the purposes of flexible and consistent policy deployment on a global scale firewall footprint. Development of reusable infrastructure automation patterns and augment them for a holistic automation approach to firewall policy deployment. Testing of newly deployed infrastructure code both web and API specific. Build automation capabilities to drive testing against infrastructure. Building new CI/CD pipelines as well as configuring existing. Skills required: Understanding of Site Reliability Engineering or Platform Engineering concepts. Solid understanding of DevOps principles and patterns alongside strong CI/CD pipeline delivery and configuration. Experience deploying and testing infrastructure as code. Excellent coding ability in Python , Bash or Perl. API testing implementing API test tools and testing API code . Testing experience with Postman, Selenium, BDD. CI/CD, Jenkins, CloudBees Experience with Storage File, Object, block etc Linux / Redhat nice to have. Candidates will be required to go through background checks before commencing contract.
