Job Description

The Mobile App Product Owner will develop and execute mobile initiatives and projects, primarily focused on the product lifecycle for Allstate branded mobile applications and other emerging mobile technologies, consistent with business strategies. They will serve as the business product team-member working on the day-to-day implementation and development of mobile applications, backlog creation, backlog prioritization, story writing and acceptance to deliver business value from mobile app features and improvements. The Mobile App Product Owner will also serve as a team and company resource in the areas of mobile engagement, mobile app development and mobile marketing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product demonstrations
  • Backlog refinement & grooming sessions
  • Sprint Retrospectives
  • Sprint and Program Increments Planning sessions
  • Manage analytics and performance reporting
  • Partner with the Product Managers to create and manage a consumer-focused product mobile roadmap, making strategic adjustments as needed based on consumer needs, resource allocation, technology delivery and corporate priority
  • Sprint Reviews
  • Daily Stand-Ups
  • Represent the mobile product team in day-to-day agile scrum team meetings including: Collaborate alongside application developers, architects, scrum masters, business analysts, user experience architects, user acceptance testers and quality assurance testers to deliver mobile app code that meets Allstate’s business objectives
  • Lead initiatives to release new features and enhancements in the Mobile App

Education

  • 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)

Experience

  • 2 or more years of experience (Preferred)

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • This job does not have supervisory duties.

  • In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is $52,260.00 - 92,790.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
