Job Description

Employ Inc. is seeking a Business Analyst to support reporting, analytics, and insights for the Sales organization. As a key resource for the go-to-market sales teams, you will develop core standard reporting, proactively identify business insights to sales leaders, and build data-driven operational programs to increase efficiency within the department. An ideal candidate would have a strong understanding of data structures and be self-sufficient with querying and manipulating their own datasets.

You should have experience working within the world of B2B SaaS and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. You will report into the Revenue Operations organization and will partner closely with sales leadership. Key projects and responsibilities will include gleaning insights from pipeline activity, increase understanding of how business activities affect conversion rates, and driving business forecasting reviews. Reporting directly to the Director of Revenue Analytics, you'll play a pivotal role in defining and optimizing our go-to-market analytics and insights strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Work with sales leadership to develop effective KPIs and dashboarding.
  • Consult with senior leadership to understand key business challenges and develop data-driven solutions to track, isolate and mitigate revenue inefficiencies.
  • Present data insights regularly and create recommendations for improving business efficiency.
  • Partner closely with Sales and Marketing functions to align business definitions between reporting, data warehouses, and business goals.
  • Work closely with sales leadership to produce high quality sales forecasting methodologies and strategies.
  • Analyze sales and marketing campaign/prospect programming with a focus on improving conversion and ROI.
  • Effectively communicate complex concepts to a wide variety of audiences in a clear and concise manner.

Job Qualifications

  • Degree/Certifications relating to one of the following fields: General Business, Analytics, Finance, Mathematics, Operations
  • 3+ years of SaaS experience
  • Proficient in SQL (preferably Snowflake or Redshift)
  • Proficient with BI tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker, including dashboard design and development.
  • Experience with common B2B SaaS business applications (Salesforce, Marketo, Netsuite, etc…)
  • Excellent project management skills, able to thrive in fast-paced environments and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships and influence both within and outside of the marketing organization.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment, exposure to ETL development teams is a plus
