About the job

Product Manager role to join a SaaS start-up.

Salary in the range of £60k - £75k.

First product hire!

We’re working with a forward-thinking SaaS business on a mission to revolutionise how companies understand and interact with their customers. Following recent funding, they’re expanding their team, and this is where you come in as their first Product Manager hire!

What You’ll Be Doing

As the Product Manager, you’ll work closely with the Founder to develop and optimise the customer journey, ensuring it meets user needs. You’ll own the product vision, with a particular focus on the UX research element, ensuring the product is designed with a deep understanding of customer behaviour. You’ll create a seamless and intuitive user experience across both web and mobile applications, be prepared to take a hands-on approach, collaborate closely with the development team, and contribute to the strategic planning of the product launch, with an initial focus on scaling within the UK market.

What Experience You’ll Need

  • Previous experience as a Product Manager, preferably within the tech or AI space.
  • Experience in SaaS environments.
  • A passion for UX research and customer experience, with the ability to translate insights into actionable product features.
  • Familiarity with the Material 3 UI framework.
  • Comfort with the technical aspects of product development, with a willingness to take a hands-on approach.
  • A proactive attitude, ready to roll up your sleeves in an end-to-end product role with all that it entails!

What You’ll Get In Return For Your Talents

This is an excellent opportunity to join the business at a pivotal moment. As the first product hire, you’ll collaborate closely with the Director to shape the product vision, with your role evolving alongside the business and leading to exciting future opportunities. The salary is in the region of £60k – £75k, with share options included. The role is initially remote, with plans for occasional office visits in the future, so you’ll need to be within commuting distance to either Bristol or London.
