About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Revenue Operations Lead to join our Revenue Compensation team. This role will be responsible for designing and implementing compensation plans and quotas for revenue generating roles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in incentive compensation, analytical skills, and experience influencing at the executive level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Compensation Plans: Create incentive compensation plans for revenue teams that will deliver to Shopify’s bottom-line
  • Create Quota Models: Develop models to analyze historical performance and create team and individual quotas for revenue generating roles
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Partner across Revenue Operations, HR, Finance and Data Science to ensure alignment on the implementation of incentive plans and quotas
  • Influence Senior Leadership: Work closely with senior craft leadership to understand and influence how their teams operates to maximize efficiency and revenue generation
  • Stay Informed on Industry Trends: Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in incentive compensation to enhance plan development and design


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in incentive compensation, revenue operations, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of incentive compensation principles and practices.
  • Advanced gsheet/excel skills with demonstrated ability to build models to analyze performance and create team and individual quotas.
  • Strong SQL skills with the ability to create complex queries to self-serve data.
  • Experience designing and implementing incentive compensation plans that have delivered bottom-line results
  • Demonstrated ability to build rapport and foster collaboration with executives and team members at all levels, enabling cohesive understanding and driving alignment throughout the organization.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to effectively tailor messaging and present complex information to a wide range of audiences (from individual contributors to executives).
  • Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record in driving and delivering end to end processes with complex inputs, and deadlines in a fast paced environment
