About the Job

The Senior Technical Advisor is a Technical Expert in the technical support organization (Technology Support and Development) as part of the Sales & Marketing organization. This is a highly visible single contributor role that is tasked with developing, maintaining and transferring application competence in the applications of the segment (ELI or Electrical Industry).

Main responsibilities:

• Give technical support to the sales organization across EMEIA
• Technical marketing in physical and digital channels across EMEIA
• Be responsible for specified key contacts with customers and OEM:s.

Other requirements needed for the position:

• Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or Chemistry, or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering or Master of Science in Chemistry or Chemical engineering with relevant work-life experience, or equivalent competence and experience gained by other means.
• At least 5 years’ experience from similar roles working in industry.
• Documented experience and understanding of working with technical sales and technical sales support.
• Participation in International and national standardization groups like CIGRE and IEC
• Deep knowledge of Transformer oil technology and chemistry
• Deep knowledge of power transformer hardware technology
• Communicates fluently in English (and ideally either Swedish, French, Spanish, Portuguese or German)
