The Pricing Analyst is responsible for analysing and interpreting pricing data to support strategic decision-making and optimize pricing strategies. This role involves collecting, processing, and evaluating data to provide actionable insights that drive revenue growth and profitability. The Pricing Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams, including global business services, finance, marketing, and sales.

What will you be doing?

Data Collection and Analysis:

  • Gather pricing data from various sources, including sales reports, market research, and competitor analysis.
  • Analyse data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that impact pricing decisions.
  • Maintain pricing databases and dashboards for real-time analysis.


Reporting and Visualization:

  • Create detailed reports and data visualizations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Present complex data in a clear and concise manner for decision-making purposes.
  • Communicate pricing performance and trends to senior management.


Financial Impact Assessment:

  • Assess the financial impact of pricing changes on revenue, margin, and profitability.
  • Perform scenario analysis to evaluate potential outcomes of different pricing strategies.
  • Work with stakeholders to align on pricing opportunities and ensure value capture.
  • Provide support and training to team members on pricing tools and methodologies.


Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in pricing analysis.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement enhancements to pricing models and tools.


What will you need to be successful?

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: 4-6 years of relevant work experience in pricing, data analytics, or business intelligence roles, ideally in the healthcare sector. Additional experience in marketing, product management and/or commercial finance is beneficial.
  • Proven experience in data analysis, preferably in a pricing or financial analysis role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel and data visualization software such as Power BI.
  • Python skills are highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of pricing strategies, market dynamics, and financial modelling is a plus.
  • Travel Requirements: Up to 10%
