About The Role

Location: Remote: Toronto - Waterloo: Canada

Maternity cover: 12 - 18 months

The Project Coordinator (Administrative lead) for North America (NAM) provides a range of project management and administration support services for IDP Connect North America.

Reporting to the SVP Partnerships & Stakeholder Management, this role is responsible for managing the successful execution of several NAM growth projects including priority initiatives in both US and Canada.

You will be focused on delivering key projects within the areas mentioned but also work on day-to-day tasks which include contributing to the management of both small & large-scale events for clients and internal stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities

What you'll be doing

  • Leading the coordination of projects for IDPC North America
  • The Initiatives and projects will include consultation through stakeholder engagement, and implementation; consulting with IDP colleagues to conduct accurate assessments of project scope and gather requirements
  • As a member of a multi-disciplinary team you'll provide oversight and coordination of projects and events, employing project management best practices and methods to ensure work is planned and executed to meet applicable standards, quality, and stakeholder requirements
  • Assisting in developing budgets and project plans based on available financial resources and priorities
  • Preparing comprehensive schedules and identifying/managing critical path milestones
  • Creating presentations; compiling and developing documentation throughout and upon completion of projects to enable efficient support and maintenance of the deliverables
  • Leading the organizational requirements by providing administrative, technical, and logistical support
  • Reviewing all work completed to date, setting new objectives/deliverables, and establishing key stakeholders and timelines
  • Communicating plans, actions, risks and issues with key stakeholders
  • Managing and building relationships with multiples global teams
  • Assisting the SVP with administrative functions and processes
  • Analyzing project data and producing progress reports. Tracking and managing project plans.
  • Meeting and exceeding key individual performance goals, leading to overall team and company growth

Required Experience

What you'll bring to the role

  • Experience as an administrative specialist with project co-ordination/management experience supporting Senior Administration/Executive initiatives
  • Advanced level proficiency with all MS Office Apps. Helpful if confident user of v-lookup and pivot tables in MS Excel
  • The ability to work multiple stakeholders at senior level
  • Previous experience of putting together presentation and reports which can be utilised by C-Level.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Resourceful - able to find the needed information quickly through independent research
  • Detail-driven, allowing for the composition and communication across the global business
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced company environment, adapting quickly to change as we build and innovate our products and services for our clients and students
  • Experience of coordinating travel and events, including hotel bookings and calendar organization
