Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled remote Finance Manager. This role will be pivotal in ensuring the financial integrity and operational efficiency of across 1inch entities. The person will also work with Swiss accounting firm to ensure 1inch entity based in Swiss will follow the region’s financial/accounting standards.


Key Responsibilities:

Accounting:

  • Support maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions, including accounts payables and receivables for 1inch entities across the globe
  • Perform quarterly and yearly closings, including accruals and amortisation, and provide financial statements
  • Working closely with Swiss accounting firms to ensure the correctness of bookkeeping
  • Collaborate with external auditors for the yearly financial audit
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS
  • Execute complex transaction reconciliations (banks, credit cards, and cryptocurrencies)

Payroll:

  • Accurately perform monthly payroll calculations and related accounting bookings for the Swiss entity
  • Manage social charges, pension funds, tax at source, and employees' insurance, including yearly declarations and modifications
  • Produce yearly salary certificates for employees of the Swiss entity

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):

  • Provide accurate and precise financial reports
  • Prepare, monitor, and report on budgets
  • Prepare and update cash flow tables
  • Conduct treasury management analysis
  • Research and analyze traditional and crypto investment tools

Taxes & VAT:

  • Perform all necessary VAT returns for the Swiss entity with the help of Swiss tax advisor
  • Complete yearly tax returns for the Swiss entity with the help of Swiss tax advisor

Banking & Treasury:

  • Manage bank accounts and analyze bank fees, planning accordingly
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date data regarding bank accounts, credit cards, and crypto-wallets
  • Ensure day-to-day payments for various entities
  • Oversee accounting systems management
  • Develop and maintain relationships with banks, exchanges, and payment providers
  • Approve purchase orders and invoices
  • Check and approve expense notes based on company policies

Operations Management:

  • Ensure administrative management of the Swiss entity, including physical and digital archives, post management, phone calls, and company insurance
  • Manage and monitor IT tools for company operations
  • Request and monitor work authorizations/permits for employees
  • Assist the Board of Directors in preparing the yearly report for the General Assembly
  • Support SRO accreditation, including quarterly VASP reports, AML audits, regulatory updates, and company data updates
  • Handle corporate daily administration, including bylaws updates, notary communications, commercial registry modifications, and REG updates

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of Swiss financial regulations, IFRS, and Swiss GAAP
  • Experience in managing both traditional and cryptocurrency transactions
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities
  • Fluency in English and German; French is a plus
