We are excited to invite Data Analysts to join our Group Data and Analytics Office (GDAO) team and help us achieve our data strategy goals. As part of our Agile Transformation, we are seeking passionate and experienced Data Analysts to work in a critical and growing area of the bank, using agile delivery methodologies. In this Role, you will;

  • Be responsible for creation of the data design backlog via interaction with major change and/or regulatory programs e.g. BCBS, SRB
  • Support the development of robust processes, standards and documentation for Data Analyst function
  • Work as part of the Data Design team you will help enhance internal analyst capability more broadly across the Group and also build and develop the Data Analyst Team
  • Work as part of a wider design capability and be involved in understanding project requirements and how these will impact the bank data design within an agile delivery squad

What will make you stand out?

You have 5 years + of proven experience as a data analyst for a large complex enterprise, in a data warehouse environment. You are experienced in data warehouse projects and programmes while working in a multi-vendor change delivery organisation. You have passionate about continuous improvement and have an agile delivery mind-set and experience of working in an agile organisation.

You Have Technical Knowledge And/or Experience With The Following

  • A good understanding of EDW & EDL architectures
  • SQL
  • Scrum / Kanban and SAFe delivery
  • Modern engineering practices and technologies
  • Informatica, Teradata & Cloudera CDP would be beneficial

Experience with any of the following will help you to stand out but is not necessary in order to apply for this role;

  • Banking Industry Data Models, in particular Teradata FSLDM,will be an advantage
  • Normalised (Inmon) and denormalised (Kimball) data models
  • Jira & Confluence
  • Data integration and/or migration

Working as part of the architecture and design function, you will play a key role in delivering data projects across the data platforms in the bank.

Join our innovative and dynamic design team within our Group Data & Analytics Office, comprising of highly experienced and skilled professionals. As part of our agile design team, you will have access to support and guidance during design review sessions, and you will take ownership of the solution as it progresses into the build and test phases.
