We are looking for an SEO expert to review our website and advise us on steps to take to improve our search engine ranking.

Our charity is small but impactful. We’ve organised numerous events to help maintain the woodland and fundraise and campaign for its upkeep. Your help and expertise will help ensure more people are able to find our website and learn about our work and events. You help will improve the skills of our team so we have a more solid understanding of how to write content to improve our SEO in the future.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a volunteer who has Expert knowledge and experience of SEO An existing understanding of or a willingness to understand the charity sector and youth issues. Has the ability to quickly understand the needs of our team

What will you be doing?

To review your site’s content, technical structure, and inbound links. They will provide actionable steps to help you to improve your search engine ranking. We are looking for an SEO expert to support us by performing an SEO audit. The volunteer will review our website (content and technical aspects) and inbound links and report back to us with steps we can take to improve our ranking in search engines. The volunteer will liaise with our digital manager who can provide access to our Google Analytics and help you to understand our goals and target audience. Optimized content focused on keywords, value for the reader, and E-A-T (expertise, authoritativeness, trustworthiness) standards Meta descriptions Headers and title tags Images with alt text Keyword optimization Working internal links Create attractive page elements, including meta tags, descriptions, and accessibility tags Include highly relevant stemmed keywords and phrases used naturally in original content Optimize site structure for engine searchability and visitor readability Generate compact, complete HTML without missing or dead link Current site analysis and diagnosis of current areas for improvement Tracking high-quality backlinks to your pages Assessing the quality and relevance of outbound links from your site Detailed analytics about traffic sources, volume, and target keyword sources Complete keyword and stemmed keyword analytics Website ranking reports Diagnostics of website speed, visibility, and keyword density Conversion rates and in-depth analysis Site heuristics that improve your pages over time
