Position Summary

We are currently recruiting for an Electronics Pricing Representative to join our Edjuster team remotely in Canada.

Responsibilities

The role of the Pricing Representative, Electronics is a multi-faceted one that focuses primarily on the four main areas of property claims and operations, including:

  • Act as a third party to conduct proper valuations of property and to assess the total losses of the insured's personal property, which is commonly caused by fire, water damage, theft and any other risks.
  • Focus on the accurate and timely handling of damaged property and major loss claims through edjuster's claims handling methodology and professional service, as well as its pricing platform to process claims on the web – exclaim.
  • Based from their home office that is properly equipped, electronics assessors consistently receive (on a daily or weekly basis) new claims files assigned to them.
  • Based from their home office, edjuster's electronics evaluators are responsible for recording the day's activities, processing claims, and the hours worked and time used for each task as well as performing all of their administrative tasks required for that position.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Ensure the regularity and quality of all complaints in accordance with the company's performance and productivity standards.
  • Complete and submit a detailed daily record of work and time spent on all claims processed.
  • Maintain claims notes in the company's claims system – exclaim (web application), related to hours incurred in relation to productivity standards, as well as specific issues and other relevant notes.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate pricing of all electronic items and the follow-up of pricing standards for items of similar nature and quality.
  • Promote the brand continuously adjust, as well as the image and reputation in a professional, continuous and positive way.

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office, Outlook, etc.)
  • Be able to provide an adequate workspace, isolated from noise
  • Provide your own high-speed Internet service (part will be refunded)
  • The company's equipment, including a laptop will be provided. It is the employee's responsibility to maintain the equipment, in accordance with company policy
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Being bilingual will be considered an asset
  • Previous experience – or equivalent – in the field of selling electronic goods will be considered an asset
  • Previous experience – or equivalent – in the field of property insurance claims will be considered an asset
  • Strong communication skills
  • Flexibility and demonstrated ability to assimilate and adapt to changes and new technologies
  • Willingness to learn and improve on an ongoing basis
