About the role

Our QA team is pivotal to Arbor’s commitment to deliver superb quality software to our customers, and our drive to make engineering teams more efficient.


We are looking for a collaborative and experienced Automation QA Engineer to join our QA team and help us deliver Arbor’s Automation strategy. The remit and focus of the role is to implement processes and tooling as required to perform automated functional and non-functional testing across all products and services It’s a broad and exciting role, so we’re looking for someone up for a challenge - if you’re an experienced Automation QA Engineer, this is the role for you.


Core responsibilities

  • Collaborate with development and quality assurance teams to design and implement automated test strategies.
  • Identify performance testing requirements across all domain areas.
  • Develop and maintain automation test scripts.
  • Contribute to the Test Automation Framework
  • Execute automated test suites and analyse results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
  • Create and maintain automation process documentation and reports.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in the automation and performance testing processes.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to team members in automation best practices.


About you:

  • Proven experience in Non-Functional Testing, API and UI automation.
  • Proven experience in performance testing using tools such as JMeter or Gatling.
  • Good System Integration Testing (SIT) experience including creating and executing API tests.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as PHP, Javascript, or Typescript.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
  • Considerable knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Experience working within agile cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work across multiple projects and be adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
  • Good collaboration and communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
