Intro And Job Overview

The Renewal Account Manager manages a portfolio of renewal accounts & contracts and is accountable to close renewal transactions on time in order to fulfill their assigned renewal quota. The individual must be extremely well-organized and detail oriented. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 -5 years’ experience supporting customer relationships. They will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient.

Responsibilities And Duties

  • Manage a portfolio of renewal accounts
  • Prepare renewal quotes and follow up in a timely manner
  • Advocate customer needs/issues cross-departmentally
  • Maintain the renewal cadence of 120-day count down for all renewals
  • Negotiate renewal quotes with customers during the renewal process
  • Work with the Sales Team on renewals at risk
  • Maintain and update renewal forecasts regularly
  • Manage and maintain data for accounts, especially within Salesforce.com
  • Exercise independent judgement using tact and discretion

Requirements And Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in a customer service position
  • Experienced with reading and interpreting complex client contracts
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Professional demeanor with sound organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Uses discretion and maintains firm’s privacy and client confidentiality
  • Works well under pressure; able to manage time effectively in an active, fast-paced environment with multiple demands, shifting priorities and deadlines
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in Salesforce is a plus
