About The Role

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Revenue Operations Lead to join Shopify's dynamic Revenue Operations team. As the Revenue Operations Lead, you will be responsible for supporting one of the largest Revenue segments. We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical candidate to play a crucial role in optimizing our revenue operations processes and driving business growth through data-driven insights and strategic recommendations.

You'll do things like:

  • Collaborate across the Revenue Organisation to gather insights, data analysis, and reporting on key revenue metrics, highlighting risks, opportunities, and growth drivers.
  • Develop and maintain revenue forecasting and reporting tools to support strategic planning and decision-making. Support the Revenue forecasting cadence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline revenue processes and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Ensure that the sales teams are set up for success with quality books of business and appropriate sales targets
  • Generate reports and presentations to communicate key insights and recommendations to leadership.
  • Own creation of Quarterly Business Review materials, including analysis preparation, holding review meetings with business owners and driving insightful commentary


We're looking for folks who meet the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in operations (Business or Sales) or related fields.
  • Proven experience in revenue analysis, financial modeling, or related roles. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to dissect complex sales forecasts, identify risks and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Proficiency in analytical tools such as Excel, SQL, and CRM software.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
