Sub-Saharan AfricaSmartsheet is seeking a SeniorDeal Desk Specialist to join our Finance Operations team supporting the Global Sales and Finance Operations teams with facilitation of deals through the Quote to Cash sales cycle. This position will work collaboratively with key partners across Sales, Professional Services, Legal, Privacy, Finance, Security, Compliance, Product and Revenue Recognition Accounting teams to ensure deals are structured and negotiated to comply with Smartsheet policies and processes.Sub-Saharan Africa

  • Sub-Saharan AfricaProvide guidance on routine to moderately complex deal structures in a way that maximises ACV and customer satisfaction, and manages risk for SmartsheetSub-Saharan Africa
  • Sub-Saharan AfricaWork cross-functionally with various teams including but not limited to Sales, Finance, Legal, Deal Operations, Pricing, Billing, and Compliance to address custom deal requirementsSub-Saharan Africa
  • Sub-Saharan AfricaElevate specialised issues to appropriate business partners and drive resolution to those issues.
  • Sub-Saharan AfricaBe the main point of contact to lead deals through appropriate approval levelSub-Saharan Africa
  • Sub-Saharan AfricaContinuously review deal progression and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure optimal deal cycle times and precise execution.Sub-Saharan Africa

  • Sub-Saharan Africa5+ years of relevant Deal Desk or Sales Support experience in a SaaS company with Direct, Channel, Government, Services, and International Sales.Sub-Saharan Africa
  • Sub-Saharan AfricaA good understanding of sales process, Billing, revenue recognition including structuring of a deal and contract management.Sub-Saharan Africa
  • Sub-Saharan AfricaAbility to consult and advise on common deal patterns
  • Sub-Saharan AfricaStrong aptitude for building interpersonal relationships to regularly challenge the status quoSub-Saharan Africa
  • Sub-Saharan AfricaSelf-motivated and able to affect change within the organisation to improve processesSub-Saharan Africa
