Role Summary:

Earth Breeze is seeking a skilled and experienced Growth Marketing Director to transform our business by scaling our paid acquisition efforts, drive media budget allocation and own reporting and results across various media channels. Beyond scaling marketing spend within efficient guardrails, this role will also be measured by an ability to increase brand awareness within target, drive topline sales and execute a high-volume testing program that unlocks incremental growth and key learnings. This role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively lead the growth marketing function, while also rolling up their sleeves to execute campaigns and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Reporting directly to our Chief Marketing Officer, you’ll lead and inspire a high-performing digital marketing team consisting of media buyers and performance creatives, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and strong execution. You will leverage your expertise to drive measurable results and propel Earth Breeze to increased market share and healthy growth. This role demands a deep understanding of marketing and growth processes, consumer behavior, product and data practices, and clear reporting. Responsibilities:

As the Growth Marketing Director at Earth Breeze, you will:

  • Own the media budget, forecasts and business KPIs related to Growth Marketing. Earth Breeze will spend $XXmm to drive $YYmm in revenue. You will allocate these investments, ensure execution of requisite campaigns is to a high standard and report on performance to plan. Working with the CMO, you’ll track the marketing investment portfolio and make the necessary adjustments to improve performance and deliver intended results.
  • Work closely with finance to develop forecasts based on marketing conditions, business results and growth opportunities.
  • Own analysis and reporting across growth initiatives and channels, providing regular insights and recommendations to optimize campaign performance. Present findings to leadership and stakeholders, driving actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Drive the execution of core digital marketing channels, including but not limited to paid advertising (paid social, SEM, video), offline (TV, direct mail) and affiliate marketing, continually growing and optimizing campaigns to meet growth goals and KPIs.
  • Oversee and guide the performance creative engine to deliver high-quality, highly-effective assets that deliver the growth, while also working closely with team members in Brand and Insights functions to strike the balance between performance and brand-building. You’ll iteratively track performance to understand what works, drive optimizations and report on ROI.
  • Own structuring, execution and testing of product offers, promotions, bundles and cross-sell products to drive acquisition growth and increase in customer value.
  • Implement clear, focused and lean methodologies to foster a dynamic and responsive growth environment marked by a high-output, value-driven growth testing pipeline.
  • Cultivate a culture that embraces both continuous improvements and failure, ensuring team members learn from each experiment and feel comfortable taking calculated risks.
  • Manage, develop and build up the Growth Marketing team where each team member has clear goals, feedback on their overall performance and opportunities for development - all while possessing the capabilities required to deliver plan.
  • Collaborate with our Technology team (including UX) to ensure clean handoff to the Earth Breeze website and ongoing site testing and ecommerce deliverables required to deliver expected growth. To this end, you will collaborate heavily in our cross-functional testing programs.
  • Help our millions of customers (and potential prospects) learn about and adopt Earth Breeze products that are great for their household cleaning needs and for the planet at large.

About You:

  • 6-8 years of growth marketing experience in consumer-focused companies (CPG or tech), with a clear understanding of how winning growth programs are structured. Shopify-based ecommerce experience a plus.
  • 2-3 years of people management experience, with a track record of driving growth planning and investments, owning the execution of growth initiatives and building up a growth marketing function (employees, contractors and agencies).
  • Deep understanding of the customer acquisition funnel and subscription flywheel, including knowledge of the core levers that drive critical KPIs at each stage of growth (LTV, CAC, conversion, etc).
  • Deep expertise in paid social with experience executing 8-figure-plus paid social budgets to grow a brand and driving requisite creative development. Additional expertise across standard DTC growth channels (search, influencer, offline). Retail support a major plus.
  • Proficient in advanced marketing analytics and deep comfort with ingesting multiple inputs to triangulate performance and assess channel impact. Proven comfort and experience with incrementality testing, cross-channel attribution and media mix modeling (MMM).
  • Extremely proficient with data. You can use data to signal high-value tests, can set up experiments for clean data reporting and can visualize and share learnings cross-functionally.
  • Clearly organized and process-driven in your approach. Whether measuring incrementality for go-forward investments, improving conversion on site or standing up a brand new marketing channel, all projects are conducted with a stated business case, rapid speed and follow-on reporting, while reporting up and out to the broader organization.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills - you are capable of presenting a growth vision & outcomes in front of senior audiences (up to CEO & BOD-level) while also coaching team members and selling a vision internally.
