Position Summary:
As a part of Hillenbrand’s global Cybersecurity team, the Sr. Cybersecurity Riska and Compliance analyst will be focused on Third Party Cyber Risk Management and Compliance related activities globally. A successful candidate for this position will have broad knowledge of cyber risk management and compliance areas, and hands-on experience in utilizing relevant tools.

As a part of Hillenbrand’s global Cybersecurity team, the Sr. Cybersecurity Riska and Compliance analyst will be focused on Third Party Cyber Risk Management and Compliance related activities globally. A successful candidate for this position will have broad knowledge of cyber risk management and compliance areas, and hands-on experience in utilizing relevant tools.
Work You’ll Do:
- Responsible for evaluating, monitoring and analysis of external cyber security supplier risks using dedicated monitoring tools and determining reporting or escalation path as required.
- Define processes and procedures for vendor on-boarding and ensuring compliance to the policies.
- Engage Relationship Owners to understand and communicate risk to third party and provide consulting or follow up with them as needed.
- Engage Hillenbrand Cybersecurity and GSM teams in response to monitoring triggers and ensure correct responses are taken and follow up or escalate as needed.
- Establish and maintain procedures to respond to various supplier risks.
- Establish and maintain criteria for trigger events and thresholds.
- Create and maintain metrics for reporting / dashboards.
- Identify emerging risks or trends across reported supplier base.
- 5+ years of experience in various Cybersecurity risk management, and compliance areas.
- 3+ years of experience working with OneTrust or other Third-Party Cyber Risk Management platforms.
- Experience in implementing and monitoring Cybersecurity frameworks and certifications such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, etc.
- Balances clear strategic thinking and accountability in execution to deliver results.
- Able to operate successfully and be effective in a high change environment and comfortable dealing with a certain amount of ambiguity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Experience with compliance management tools such as DRATA, Audit Board, etc.
- Technical understanding of core current cybersecurity technologies as well as emerging threats.
- 3+ years of general or ‘hands-on’ information technology experience (Network Engineer, System Admin, Database Admin, Programmer, etc.).
- Working knowledge of common information security and technology concepts, risks and best practices.
- Strong written and oral communication skills including the ability to create organized and articulate reports and presentations from underlying data that are easily understood by teammates and Business Partners.
- Ability to take ownership of an initiative/issue through completion.
- Experience in IT audit and SOX audit in manufacturing industry is a plus.
- Security, technology, and/or audit/compliance related certifications are a plus.
