Primary Duties

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Freelance DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps practices, cloud infrastructure management, and automation. You will work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems.

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless code integration and deployment.
• Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and optimize for cost, performance, and security.
• Automate and streamline operations and processes using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or similar.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to improve reliability and scalability.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure systems are designed for reliability and performance.
• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Document processes and system configurations for future reference and team knowledge sharing.

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
• Strong understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) for automation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with remote teams.

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards (ISO, SOC 2, etc.).
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Prior experience working in a freelance or remote capacity.
