Role Purpose
The role is to support the Pringles team in accounting, finance and tax related activities.
Role Responsibilities
- Accounting and Financial Controlling
- Review and ensure accuracy of balance sheet reconciliations, identifying and rectifying discrepancies in a timely manner
- Ensure reporting deadlines for regular monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting for internal and external stakeholders are met
- Monitor and ensure that aged items in balance sheet are tracked and cleared in a timely manner
- Address payment and receipts issues, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, e.g. banks, employees, GBS team, etc.
- Administration of corporate credit card program
- Prepare and submit government statistical reports in compliance with regulatory guidelines
- Audits
- Provide support during internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to audit requirements and timely provision of requested documentation.
- Support for SOX testing – twice yearly
- Tax
- Support annual tax filing requirements, such as annual income tax filing
- Support quarterly tax reporting requirements
- Support tax audits as required
- Support internal tax reports submissions as required
- Project Support
- Collaborate with other departments on accounting-related projects, offering financial insights and expertise to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Handle adhoc tasks and special projects as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in addressing dynamic business needs.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounting or Financial Controlling roles
- Prior experience in a Big 4 public accounting firm and/or US MNC is highly preferred
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Proficient in English
- Technically strong with solid knowledge in IFRS, Singapore FRS and taxation rules
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills to ensure successful contribution in individual as well as team setting.
- Possess an adaptive and mature approach as well as meticulous mindset to manage both details as well as “big picture”.
- Possess good business acumen and personable to work with
- Able to work under pressure and adapt and respond quickly to changing environment.
- Supports the Controlling function in Pringles Singapore
- Reports to Senior Manager, Accounting
- Depending on business exigencies, extended hours may be required from time to time
