Cloud Services Analyst responsibilities:


  • Provide focused troubleshooting and problem-solving for Azure platforms, adaptable to other cloud systems
  • Offer advanced third-line support for cloud applications and infrastructure, aiming for high uptime and performance
  • Prioritise security in all stages of work process
  • Work collaboratively with various teams to innovate and fulfil client-centric cloud solutions
  • Stay current with the cloud industry landscape to provide informed insights to stakeholders
  • Assist in developing scripts for automation of cloud services, minimizing manual workload. Working alongside DevOps team to provide insight
  • Conduct cloud service enhancements through performance tuning and operational advancements
  • Document incident reports, system infrastructure, and procedural guidelines for cloud management
  • Educate and mentor junior team members, leading by expertise
  • Create and update documentation for services and processes


Cloud Services Analyst skills, traits, and experience:


  • Experience managing and optimizing cloud services, particularly with Azure
  • Competency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, and Shell to facilitate cloud automation
  • AZ104 / Azure xp (advantageous)
  • Managed service environments
  • Practical understanding of system architectures, networking, and administration
  • Best practice for security, compliance, and scalability.
