Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled ElectronJS Contractor to join our team at Zowork on a part-time basis, paid hourly. As an ElectronJS Contractor, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust desktop applications using ElectronJS. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and a proven track record of delivering high-quality ElectronJS applications.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient desktop applications using ElectronJS.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Write clean, modular, and well-documented code following industry best practices and coding standards.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and maintainability.
• Optimize application performance and ensure responsiveness across different platforms and devices.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in ElectronJS and desktop application development.

Desired Experience:

• 6+ years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on ElectronJS development.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Solid understanding of desktop application development concepts and best practices.
• Experience with frontend frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js (Good to have).
• Strong knowledge of asynchronous programming, RESTful APIs, and client-server communication.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
