What difference will you make?
As our Treasurer you will be an integral member of our senior team and Advisory Board dedicated to ensuring excellent financial governance underpins our Prize campaigns and Awards and associated causes.
What are we looking for?
Qualifications Chartered accountant Skills Experienced treasurer Experienced in financial governance in both the corporate and not-for-profit sector Financial strategist Excellent presentation and communication skills working with front-line staff, management and board members, especially in a remote working environment. Excellent analytical and organisational skills Excellent Microsoft office skills Team player with a positive attitude Experience Experience of working with a C.I.C. a distinct advantage but not obligatory Knowledge of corporate tax is an additional benefit If you don't possess all the skills requested but feel you are a strong candidate nevertheless please do apply as you will be part of a team with a broad skillset.

Responsibility Advising on financial governance and best practice Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable Manage and deliver all annual and statutory financial reporting requirements Prepare materials and presentations for attendance at board meetings. Manage the annual budgeting process Assist in the annual financial audit as required Ensure compliance with accepted accounting principles (UK GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) Make improvements to the design of management accounts and financial reports, as required
