Job Title: Remote Work Scheduler - Home Based Role (West Midlands Based)

Role Summary: We are seeking a motivated and organised Remote Work Scheduler to manage the day-to-day business workload in line with client requirements. This fully remote role involves scheduling and planning all works, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining effective communication with clients.

The Scheduler will also be responsible for updating job management systems and providing regular reports. This role offers flexibility, with the option to work either Monday-Friday or Saturday-Wednesday. Additionally, there may be opportunities for out-of-hours (OOH) cover for which additional pay will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the works schedule through the subcontractor workforce.
  • Raise, update, and complete jobs on the job management system according to ongoing day-to-day activity and the schedule.
  • Provide daily updates to clients on job progress via phone or email.
  • Book works in with site and provide the engineer with a works schedule at least one week in advance (excluding reactive/call-out works).
  • Ensure all jobs on the job management system are accurately updated, and statuses are correct at all times.
  • Provide job report updates to the manager and client weekly.
  • Address engineer requests while on-site, escalating technical issues beyond scope to the manager.
  • Issue RAMS and job details to engineers for each job.
  • Ensure all paperwork/certification/quotations are submitted by engineers within 5 days of attendance to the site, escalating delays to the manager after three attempts.
  • Compile quotation information into the iLEX template and send it to the manager for approval.
  • forward all completed certificates and job sheets to the manager for approval.
  • Attend meetings as required by the manager.
  • Support finance with any job queries to facilitate billing.
  • Ad hoc duties as requested by Senior Management.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Support the team in delivering the schedule of works.
  • Support the business in meeting all client-set targets regarding field service delivery.
  • Provide a response to client requests for information and support within agreed timeframes.
  • Ensure all jobs are up-to-date at all times.

Health and Safety:

  • Ensure that you (and the team) use the appropriate tools for all instructed works.
  • If you witness any breach of H&S or an unsafe act, report the incident to your line manager immediately.
  • Be mindful of your own personal safety and that of those around you.

Qualification and Skills:

  • Previous experience in scheduling, planning, or a similar role.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in job management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.


Location: Fully remote (Monday-Friday or Saturday-Wednesday)
