Join Rotobec as a Sales Representative, where you'll take charge of promoting and selling our esteemed range of products within your designated territory. This pivotal role has been newly established at Rotobec to further propel our rapid business expansion. As a Sales Representative, you'll serve as the face of Rotobec, cultivating relationships with both existing and prospective clients while providing invaluable insights into diverse markets including forestry, scrap recycling, waste management, railroad equipment, and beyond.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Rotobec to its current and potential customers by maintaining and developing strong relationships with them;
  • Support our distributors and customers in their business activities by recommending the appropriate product for their needs and assisting our distributors in closing sales;
  • Assess the sales potential of our various markets and provide sales forecasts;
  • Analyse the market and propose strategies to increase sales and meet the company's expectations;
  • Finding new customers and new dealers in their territory to increase sales;
  • Enter any relevant information about our customers, the market or important events into the company's CRM;
  • Propose new products or product adaptations to penetrate new markets;
  • Identify the commercial activities to be undertaken;
  • Travel 25 to 30 weeks per year to represent Rotobec to its customers within the sales territory;
  • Must be able to travel to Canada for occasional training or other special event(s) at the company's headquarters;
  • Provide a suitable home office to work and follow up with customers when not travelling to meet customers.


Requirements and Competencies:

  • Customer facing profile with experience in a customer facing role;
  • Experience in business-to-business sales;
  • Experience of working with heavy equipment;
  • Autonomous and result oriented;
  • Good computer skills (Salesforce, Excel, PMP...);
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
  • Experience and relationships with key market sectors such as scrap recycling, waste recycling and forestry / sawmill / pulp mill companies is desirable;
  • Suitable home office to work and follow up with clients when not travelling.
