Responsibilities also encompass the selection and negotiation with suppliers, overseeing their integration, and maintaining ongoing relationships with strategic suppliers. Moreover, this role is responsible for enhancing the collaboration between the Procurement function and relevant internal stakeholders, serving as the primary authority on supply management within the specific areas of colocation and data center connectivity. Effective collaboration with teams across Procurement, Project Management, Logistics, Finance, and Legal is essential to guarantee fluid and efficient service delivery.

Your Responsibilities:

- Engage directly with internal stakeholders and functional teams to influence purchasing behavior and implement approved sourcing strategies.

- Analyze internal needs and supply market dynamics, including supplier landscapes, price trends, and cost drivers.

- Communicate supply agreements and changes effectively to operational teams.

- Support the Procurement Managers in conducting ongoing supplier relationship management, striving for continuous improvement, and leading supplier-driven innovation and cost-saving initiatives.

- Support the design and use of appropriate "buying channels" within the stakeholder community.

- Rigorously apply sourcing processes and tools.

Challenges:

- Establishing credibility and confidence with stakeholders to influence change and overcome resistance to new supply relationships.

- Demonstrating the value of a professional supply management approach to traditionally independent business areas.

- Navigating diverse business cultures, processes, and demands across multiple operating units.

- Balancing in-depth knowledge of the colocation and data center connectivity portfolio with the need to stay aligned with internal business strategies.

Scope:

- Responsible for a significant IT global yearly spend, approximately €50 Million.

- Collaborate across business units, including Product Management, Project Management, IT support, Procurement, Finance, and Legal.

We expect you to have:

- Education: University degree in IT, Business, or a related field, with IT procurement certifications preferred.

- Experience: 5+ years in IT Services procurement, especially in colocation and data center connectivity, with a proven track record in successful sourcing activities, spend analysis, and negotiations.

- Languages: Excellent English proficiency is required; additional European languages are a plus.

- Analytical mindset, with a healthy professional skepticism

- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.

- Experience in IT services, with telecom and hardware category knowledge being advantageous.

- Demonstrated ability in managing complex supplier relationships.

- Breakthrough Thinking: Ability to innovate in supply management and change buying behaviors to derive new value from external markets.

- Influencing: Skill in advocating for change among skeptical and resistant stakeholders.

- Team Commitment: Working cooperatively across the organization to achieve shared goals.
