Job Information

• Salary rate $18/hour
• Annual Leave - 12 Days
• Contract: 12 months contract (Renewable)
• Working Hours: 40 hours per week / based on mostly night shift schedule (8hrs shift between 9pm -10am)
• Work from home

Job Summary

A work from home Language Interpreter works from his/her home office. It is essential to ensure a quiet and secure environment. The calls may involve simple or complex, non-technical or technical subjects in healthcare, government, insurance, finance, utilities, travel and hospitality, 911 emergency services, law enforcement and general businesses.

Job Responsibilities

• Translate from English to Mandarin and vice versa
  
  

Job Requirements

• Possess own a laptop / PC with webcam (during training session)
• High speed internet connection: minimum of 30MB download and 20MB upload speed (public WiFi is strictly not allowed)
• Cable or fibre optic internet only
• Possess own mobile phone
• Able to commit to night shift
• Proficient and fluent in English and Mandarin (including reading)
