Apply via Dice today!DatamanUSA has an exciting opportunity for an Artificial Intelligence Developer to work with one of our direct clients in Los Angeles, CA.Job Title: Artificial Intelligence DeveloperDuration: 12+ Months (with possible extension)Location: Los Angeles, CA (Remote)Note- **This is a remote position; however, they may have to travel on-site or at conferences on rare occasions.** Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement AI models, especially integrated within C# applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into Odyssey and eCourt case management systems.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of AI technologies to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to other team members.
  • Continuously research and stay updated on the latest AI technologies that can benefit the court system.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in AI development, specifically with a strong background in generative AI models and natural language processing.
  • Proficient in C#, with experience integrating AI technologies into existing C# applications.
  • Experience with AI frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Azure OpenAI) suitable for C# environments.
  • Demonstrable experience in developing and deploying AI solutions for document analysis and processing.
  • Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for deploying AI solutions.
  • Solid understanding of data structures, data modeling, and software architecture.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Expertise designing and implementing pluggable architecture using reflection, dependency injection frameworks, or modular frameworks (e.g., MEF, Autofac) for scalable and extensible software solutions.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Master's degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with local Large Language Models and their implementation in legal document analysis.
  • Knowledge of Odyssey and eCourt case management systems.
  • Experience in the legal sector, particularly with legal documents or legal environments.
  • Knowledge of ethical AI use and considerations specific to public service and legal applications.
  • Previous experience working on government contracts or projects.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and innovative thinking.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
