About Our Client

The job seeks a dynamic Product Manager to lead user interaction and usability enhancements within the EHR system. This role involves a strategic combination of technical expertise, user insight, and market analysis to guide the product roadmap and ensure solutions not only meet but exceed the evolving needs of users.


In this role, you'll ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience that empowers users to provide the best possible care. Responsibilities include crafting the product roadmap, conducting comprehensive user research, and analyzing competitor offerings and industry trends. Through a data-driven approach, you'll gain a deep understanding of customer needs and identify competitive differentiation opportunities. Ultimately, your decisions will shape what gets built and prioritized to ensure the product remains a best-in-class EHR and Practice Management solution for behavioral health professionals.


Responsibilities

- **Own the product roadmap** : Analyze market trends, gather user feedback, and collaborate with stakeholders to define and evolve the product vision and strategy, particularly regarding the design system, accessibility, and landing pages. Develop a clear roadmap that prioritizes features based on their impact on business goals and user needs.


- **Deep understanding of customers** : Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the challenges and workflows of behavioral health professionals and practice managers, from solo practitioners to large group practices. Translate this understanding into intuitive and efficient product features.


- **Experience in Health IT and behavioral health** : Proven experience with EHR systems and other relevant healthcare technologies is highly desirable. Candidates with a strong understanding of the specific needs within the behavioral health domain will stand out.


- **Agile leadership and cross-functional collaboration** : Champion Agile methodologies, effectively prioritize work with product owners and designers, and collaborate seamlessly with engineering, UX, sales, and customer success teams. Work closely with management, other product managers, customer success, and sales to maintain alignment and coordination across the organization.


- **Data-driven decision making** : Utilize user feedback and analytics to measure product performance, identify improvement opportunities, and guide feature prioritization. Continuously analyze competitor offerings and industry trends to inform product strategy. Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to identify user needs and pain points. Track and measure the success of product initiatives through key performance indicators (KPIs).


- **Exceptional communication and presentation skills** : Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to continuously refine the product strategy. Work with technical writers to develop and present clear product documentation and communication materials.


- **Passion for making a difference** : A belief in the power of technology to improve lives, specifically in the mental health care space, is essential.


Qualifications

- Experience with EHR systems and other relevant healthcare technologies is a plus.

- Proven track record of successfully launching and evolving software products.

- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and product management best practices.

- A strong grasp of user-centered design principles and methodologies.

- Experience conducting user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing.

- Proven ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable product strategies.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment

- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and coordinate across various departments, teams, and functions.

- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex ideas clearly.

- 5+ years of experience as a software product manager, preferably in the healthcare or behavioral health SaaS industry.

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, business, or healthcare administration, is required.

- Passion for behavioral health and improving the lives of healthcare professionals.

- Deep understanding of the behavioral health landscape and the challenges faced by practitioners is preferred.


Bonus points for

- Knowledge of behavioral health workflows and best practices.

- Experience with user experience (UX) design tools and systems.

- Experience with the development and maintenance of design systems is a big plus.
