Description
We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs. The role focuses on server-side development, system reliability, and performance optimization. This position requires strong experience in backend programming, databases, and distributed systems.
- Design and develop backend services and RESTful APIs
- Build scalable and maintainable server-side applications
- Work with relational databases to design schemas and optimize queries
- Ensure system reliability, performance, and security
- Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams
- Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional backend engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in Python or Node.js
- Experience building RESTful APIs
- Strong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- Familiarity with caching systems (Redis)
- Experience with containerization (Docker)
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
- Strong problem-solving skills
