Role: -                                 Warehouse Manager – Finance
Experience: -                     5-8 years of experience

Employment: -                 Full Time

Work Location: -              Khammam

Reporting Manager: -    Logistics & Distribution Manager – South

Reporting Team:-            2 Members

 

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing warehousing and logistics operations, prioritizing health, safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance as well as exceptional customer service. This role entails ensuring strict adherence to regulatory standards pertaining to safety, transport, and inventory management. The manager must effectively monitor inventory turnover, minimize damages and stock obsolescence, and proactively address slow-moving stock. They will also work to enhance service levels for channel partners, reducing delivery disputes, and lead initiatives aimed at continuous improvement of warehouse operations.

 

Responsibilities: -

  • Sales order management, execution, stock picking and dispatch.
  • Receipt of stocks from different manufacturing locations, storage, dispatch of approximately 100 SKUs to different customers in the region.  
  • Ensure FIFO/FEFO and other controls to maintain 100% inventory accuracy.
  • Day to day coordination with transporters for vehicle placement, on time delivery.
  • Daily, weekly, monthly MIS to sales, head office or any other functions.
  • Ensure storage as per staking norms, handling and segregation of products in compliance with safety and other global guidelines.
  • Maintain product promotional material and other records in easily retrievable condition.  
  • Close monitoring of product shelf life, reduce returns goods to factory.
  • Keep close watch on damages and leakages to minimize losses.
  • Loss prevention and recovery of losses from service providers/transit insurance claims.
  • Facilitate Finance interface, on freight provisions, inventory provisions, statutory audits etc.

 

 

Required Skills: -

  • 10+ years’ experience in plant finance / cost accounting (manufacturing environment preferred).
  • Qualified CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
  • Good hands on knowledge of Microsoft Excel, SAP B1.
  • Experience working in a large manufacturing setup; chemical industry preferred.
  • Good execution skill.
  • Managerial skill to handle multiple stakeholders like labours, transporters, regulatory officers.

  • Effective management of warehouse resources for consistent performance to ensure swift FG delivery to end customers. 
  • Works constructively and collaboratively with internal and external customers.
  • Demonstrates passion in customer service.
  • Should be able to handle pressure during seasonal demand surge and resource constraints.
